DXC and Microsoft: The power of partnership

DXC Technology’s Chris Knepper speaks at Microsoft Inspire.

DXC Technology was recently named Microsoft’s Productivity Partner of the Year at Microsoft Inspire, Microsoft’s annual partner conference. We are thrilled to have earned this distinction, as it shows our joint commitment and capabilities to bring digital transformation to enterprises.

DXC’s MyWorkStyle, an integrated solution built on Microsoft Office 365, provides a consumer-like experience with enterprise security and instant collaboration. DXC has worked in partnership with Microsoft for nearly 30 years, from when Microsoft first launched Office for Windows in 1990 to today’s Office 365.

The results are impressive:

  • 4.4 million Office 365 seats sold and 2.7 million deployed
  • Advisory, planning, design, deployment, support and management capabilities in 135 countries worldwide
  • Center of Excellence team that has over 130 people across sales, solutioning, engineering, delivery, practice and advisory services
  • Delivery of over 200 account planning sessions and customer workshops focused on Microsoft’s Secure Productive Enterprise (SPE) ecosystem

Customer Zero

At DXC, we cut our teeth on Office 365 as “Customer Zero,” implementing our own digital transformation with the Microsoft suite of offerings. We learned best practices, tested theories, and determined ways to address challenges that we could then pass on to our clients. Both as Customer Zero and for our clients, the heart of our success in delivering superior Office 365 solutions has been largely driven by the incredible strength of our Microsoft partnership.

Many clients have experienced this:

  • Black and Veatch, a global engineering firm, recently rolled out Office 365 to over 13,000 mailboxes and reduced its overall cost structure.
  • AzkoNobel, a multinational chemical company, has 47,000 managed seats across 80 countries.
  • Molson Coors, the brewing company, has undergone migration and ongoing support of 30,000 seats with many workloads including Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Skype for Business, Yammer and more.

Through our Microsoft partnership, we can implement better solutions and offer more comprehensive support for our joint clients. Together we can support our clients 24/7, with DXC able to handle 98 percent of all escalation tickets without needing to engage Microsoft. This means our customers stay happy with always-on support.

As we continue to grow our Office 365 business with Microsoft, we look forward to continuing to improve our services with each new client through the strength of the partnership and the foundation we have laid that records and leverages our best practices. We thank Microsoft for recognizing DXC as its Productivity Partner of the Year.
