I am very happy to let you know that DXC Agility Platform version 11.1 has been released and is available for our customers to download.  With this release, we have improved the solution in a few different areas and I invite you to review the release notes for specific details. Below are a few highlights about the 11.1 release.

  • Improvements that will allow for faster integration of hybrid IT automated services through the Agility Platform API in order to provide a more automated and reliable flow across the tools and processes that IT uses.
  •  An improved user experience when working with Projects that will allow greater visibility into the services they are provisioning as well as managing the services over time with the improved Projects Perspective.
  • A new visualization option for scripts which are associated with instances that are used to install packages, configuring the instance and startup/shutdown procedures. End users will have greater visibility to the scripts which will provide access to view the output of scripts after they have run from within the Agility Platform console without having to log into each of the provisioned instances. The new UI also provides additional script details and in turn, provides a more end-to-end solution for the definition, management and deployment of services for their organization.

Customers who have the Agility Platform installed in their own data center(s) can upgrade to the newest version of Agility and/or updated adapters. Please refer to your documentation to review which versions of the Agility Platform the adapters have been certified against; an upgrade of Agility may be required.

For customers using DXC managed cloud offerings such as BizCloud or DXC Hybrid Cloud, discuss this update with your account representative. Those DXC services follow a separate schedule for updating the platform and the unique services they provide.
