It’s time to get certified (and get recognised) in project management

With the Program Management Improvement and Accountability Act signed into law in the U.S. and the awarding of a Royal Charter to the Association of Project Management, there has never been a better time to get certified within the project management industry.

Recognition within our PM practice can be hard and sometimes daunting. Getting certified helps immensely — to be able to speak confidently on a subject, to know that you have the recognition of your peers, and to know that you are supported by a body of knowledge from the profession.

The Project Management Institute (PMI) has 8 certificates, ranging from those starting on their PM journey, to those at CxO level. Entry level starts with the CAPM.
