Dell Technologies has named DXC Technology as a Titanium Black Partner. What does it mean for our customers?

I’m very excited and proud to announce that DXC Technology recently achieved Dell Technologies’ highest level of partner status – Titanium Black. Only 13 companies in Dell Technologies’ partner network, one of the largest in the industry, have been recognized at this level. In fact, we are now one of only three global cloud service providers to be named a Titanium Black Partner.

So, what does all this mean for our customers? Titanium Black Partner status indicates that DXC has shown an ongoing commitment to Dell Technologies and that we have expert-level knowledge of the company’s products, solutions and services. It also means that we are invited to Dell’s “Access to the Future” events, where our executives get an early look at the company’s roadmaps, during briefings held by Michael Dell and his senior leadership. Having a preview of these technology roadmaps lets us move more quickly to respond to customer needs and to align Dell Technologies’ solutions with our own.

And this works both ways. Dell Technologies is one of our first partners to align closely with the DXC Enterprise Technology Stack, resulting in joint go-to-market solutions that are foundational to what we deliver to customers at each of the stack’s four layers.

These joint solutions provide clients with capabilities like multi-cloud, compute, storage, backup, data analytics, cyber security, IT outsourcing, high-performance computing, robotics and automation – to name a few.  A leading example of the partnership in action is the launching of DXC Managed Multi-Cloud Services in April 2020.  This solution, which can be built on Dell Technologies’ infrastructure, helps our clients realize the benefits of hybrid cloud while still leveraging their VMware and Dell investments.

The DXC and Dell Technologies partnership in action

DXC’s partnership with Dell spans more than 20 years. We have more than 2,000 customers together, with over 40 co-developed solutions and multiple consumption models. More than 10,000 DXC employees are accredited and certified with Dell Technologies. We are honored to be a new Titanium Black Partner in 2020 and to continue working together to help customers on their IT modernization journeys.

Melissa Yonge-Smith is the Global Partner Executive for the DXC and Dell Technologies global alliance, a strategic alliance recognized with over 20 Partner of the Year awards in recognition of excellence in co-innovation and delivery achievement with Dell Technologies’ businesses and DXC customers.
